Updated 20 September 2026. This notice covers app.aptitudecheck.com, the AptitudeCheck assessment app. It explains assessment processing, saved reports and advertising technologies.
Assessment answers and saved reports
When you start an assessment, the app sends your answers, session identifiers and related assessment information to the assessment service to operate the questionnaire and prepare results. The service can use OpenAI for AI-assisted question generation and processing. This means your assessment information is not kept only on your device. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information in free-text answers.
The app also uses browser local storage and session storage for progress credentials, preferences and report copies. Reports do not automatically synchronize between devices. A downloaded report backup contains your results; keep it private. Clearing site data can remove your local progress and reports. This does not, by itself, delete information already stored by the assessment service.
Hosting, security and measurement
The app uses Cloudflare hosting, security and measurement infrastructure. Requests include technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and timestamps. Assessment processing takes place through the assessment service, and may involve service providers such as OpenAI as described above.
Google advertising and cookies
AptitudeCheck has applied to use Google AdSense. An advertising verification tag or an ads.txt entry identifies the publisher account; neither means that Google has approved the site.
Where Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Other advertising technologies can include web beacons, IP addresses and device identifiers for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention.
You can manage personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. You can also visit AboutAds choices to learn about participating vendors’ interest-based advertising options. Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily remove all ads.
Where a consent message is offered, use its choices to accept or reject optional purposes and reopen its privacy settings to change your choice. Browser controls also let you manage cookies and clear stored site data. Ad personalization for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland requires a Google-certified consent platform; a general privacy notice alone is not a substitute for that consent process.
Children and sensitive information
AptitudeCheck is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. Do not enter a child’s personal information, identity documents, passwords or medical information into assessment answers. We do not configure quiz answers or saved reports as advertising audience lists.
